Cham/Switzerland | Sep. 07, 2026 — Etops, a leading pan-European provider of wealth and asset management technology, has appointed Christian Lanzendorf as Head of IFA. He assumes overall responsibility for the independent financial advisor (IFA) business in Germany as well as its strategic development. At the same time, he has been appointed to the Group Executive Board of the Etops Group.
Consolidated Responsibility for the IFA Segment
In his role, Lanzendorf will lead sales and market development for the Group’s IFA solutions portfolio. Key priorities include expanding market leadership in Germany, scaling the existing offering into additional advisor segments, and broadening strategic partnerships. In parallel, sales and customer success capacities will be expanded.

More Than 30 Years in the Financial and Technology Markets
Lanzendorf brings over 30 years of experience across the financial services and technology sectors. He began his career in 1992 at the financial advisory firm tecis. Starting in 1994, he spent nearly two decades at BHF-BANK and its fund subsidiary FRANKFURT-TRUST, where his responsibilities included wholesale distribution to independent financial advisors, wealth managers, family offices, banks, and insurance companies, as well as the asset servicing and private label businesses.
Since 2017, he has focused on digital transformation and the distribution of complex software and IT solutions for banks and insurance companies. Starting in 2020, he served as Business Lead Financial Services & Insurance at T-Systems International, steering market strategy, go-to-market activities, and sales business development for the financial sector.
